Eve Ensler’s award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues, is more than a play, it’s a movement.  Currently in its 20th year of production, TVM is a series of true-life monologues, each based on actual women’s stories. It raises awareness, starts conversations, and entertains.  But more than that, TVM is part of The One Billion Rising Movement helping women around the globe.  This production is put on by a local Atlanta team, coming together in support of our community.  All proceeds from the performance go to charity, 10% will go to the Frontline Resistors Fund and 90% will go to Camp Cadi, a 5013(c) organization right here in Georgia operating a summer camp for girls traumatized by childhood sexual abuse with a goal of breaking silence and aiding in healing.

Donna the Buffalo–Jeb Puryear, Tara Nevins, David McCracken, Kyle Spark, and Mark Raudabaugh–has toured the nation for nearly 25 years with an ever-evolving grassroots sound and plans to keep on doing so for many years to come. The group draws its inspiration from a cherished part of the American heritage: the old-time music festivals of the south that drew entire towns and counties together. “Those festivals were so explosive, and the community and the feeling of people being with each other, that’s the feeling we were shooting for in our music,” Puryear says. “Donna the Buffalo is an extension of the joy we’ve found.”

The Vagina Monologues @ City Winery Atlanta

The Vagina Monologues @ City Winery Atlanta
