In this fun, hands-on class, explore how to create your own version of an abstract painting, using acrylic paint in neutral colors (think greys, whites, creams, with a pop of color), gold leaf and various applications (brushes, cloth and palette knives to name a few) to create a modern composition on a 16” x 16” canvas.

Our friends at Elk Head will play host to live acoustic music by Atlanta’s The Brannen Brothers. The party will begin around 7:00 PM, and the live musical performance will begin around 9:00 PM. Seasonal libations and snacks will be provided!

This partnership with Community Farmers Markets brings terrific farmers to The Shed such as Aluma Farm, Cosmos Organic Farm, Dickey Farms, King of Crops, Mercier Orchards, Pearson Farm, Scharko Farms, Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Ag, and Watsonia Farms. Meats will be provided by Brasstown Beef, Grant Wallace, and Four Bellies Farm. Freshly prepared food will be available from Angus Brown, Atomic Ice Cream Sandwich, Farm Burger, Good Food Truck, King of Pops, and Seedy Bars. Or, take some goodies to go from Antonio’s Fresh Pasta, Atlanta Fresh, Bee Wild Honey, Formaggio, Golda Kombucha, La Calavera, Little Tart Bakeshop, Treehouse Milk, and Wanderlust Coffee. There will be additional rotating vendors at each Ponce City Farmers Market, so be sure to come weekly for new artisanal and culinary delights.
