Please join us for a free Coding For Your Classroom workshop to learn about programming languages HTML and CSS, the fundamental building blocks of the web. In this workshop you will learn the first steps to writing code and receive an introduction to General Assembly’s free learning tool DASH , which can be used with your students.
This session, designed for the beginner programmer, will assume no previous coding knowledge. We’ll go over key coding terminology and principles, introduce languages like HTML and CSS—what their functions are, how they work together—and use that new knowledge to write our own code and develop our own simple site.
This conversation will be geared toward middle and high school classrooms.

Kenay Parker as he shares various tips and techniques that will equip you with the necessary tools to create and distribute your own self-published and hand-printed media. This is the first of a four part series. Attendance at all four classes is not mandatory but is encouraged.
City Winery’s cocktail bar, ABV by City Winery, introduces Geeks Who Drink trivia nights!
Every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning May 25, guests will compete to be crowned that week’s champion. Geeks Who Drink events are FREE to play with a limit of six players on a team. The quiz consists of eight rounds of audio, visual, and live read questions with prizes given out to the top teams.

The Farmers Market is located off the Atlanta BeltLine in The Shed beside Ponce City Market, and runs seasonally every Tuesday from 4-8 pm until November. The Farmers Market hosts some of Atlanta’s finest local food talent, including urban farmers, artisanal food makers, and pop-up chefs.
