Southern Botanics specializes in collecting, pressing, mounting and framing flowers, leaves and other plant materials in the style of botanical engravings and less formal interpretations. All of our items are original hand-crafted artworks.

WonderRoot’s Artist Market will create a space for 40 local artists to sell their wares every Sunday throughout 2017. The WonderRoot Artist Market connects Atlanta residents to artists and makers by facilitating a platform for creatives to sustain themselves and build relationships.

WonderRoot is an arts organization that works to improve the cultural and social landscape of Atlanta through creative initiatives and community partnerships. The anchor of the organization is the WonderRoot Center for Arts and Social Change—a full-service facility that supports artists, offers public programming and brings diverse voices together to envision and activate a stronger Atlanta.

Meet author J.C. Sasser as she signs copies of her Southern novel, Gradle Bird at Posman Books ATL.

Sixteen-year-old Gradle Bird has lived her entire life with her Grandpa, Leonard, at a seedy motel and truck stop off Georgia’s I-16. But when Leonard moves her to a crumbling old house rumored to be haunted by the ghost of Ms. Annalee Spivey, Gradle is plunged into a lush, magical world much stranger and more dangerous than from the one she came.

Here she meets Sonny Joe Stitch, a Siamese Fighting Fish connoisseur overdosed on testosterone, a crippled, Bible-thumping hobo named Ceif “Tadpole” Walker, and the only true friend she will ever know, a schizophrenic genius, music-man, and professional dumpster-diver, D-5 Delvis Miles.

As Gradle falls deeper into Delvis’s imaginary and fantastical world, unsettling dangers lurk, and when surfaced Gradle discovers unforeseen depths in herself and the people she loves the most.

Gradle Bird is an unusual tale of self-discovery and redemption that explores the infirmities of fatherly love, the complexities of human cruelty, and the consequences of guilt, proving they are possible to overcome no matter how dark and horrible the cause

The second annual Ponce City Farmers Market has returned to The Shed with new vendors, new chefs, and the same farm fresh meats and veggies!

We encourage shoppers to walk or bike the BeltLine to market. One hour parking is complimentary for Farmers Market shoppers in the lot in front of Mountain High Outfitters or any Ponce City Market lot by choosing zone 22200 and inputting the code FARMERS2017 in the Park Mobile app. Only valid during market hours.

The Farmers Market is located off the Atlanta BeltLine in The Shed beside Ponce City Market, and runs seasonally every Tuesday from 4-8 pm until November. The Farmers Market hosts some of Atlanta’s finest local food talent, including urban farmers, artisanal food makers, and pop-up chefs. Fischer Busby Designs was developed through a very simple concept. I make things I love and enjoy. Other people wanted to buy those things and so Fischer Busby Designs was born.

The stylings of the shop are simple and elegant. All items are made with quality products. Texture, elegance and quality are very important to me. Because my taste is somewhat eclectic, you will occasionally see something that stands out alone as being a little different. Being a little different is never a bad thing. Embrace it!

Pop Up starts Saturday and continues through Sunday November 18th and 19th.

Break Into Business is an organization on a mission to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. They coach students age 9-17 as they launch real businesses. Their top entrepreneurs will be selling their products on Saturday 11/18 from 1-4pm at Citizen Supply during their Fall Business Fair! Join us to shop, party, and celebrate their hard work. Featured products include homemade dried pasta, the world’s best key lime pies, allergy alert bracelets for kids, pet products, and fresh-cut flower arrangements.
