Take a tour of the Ponce Flats, try some delicious food, and learn about sustainable initiatives in the area.

An introductory class that presents to students the absolute basics of drawing. Students will learn to work with a variety of media including pencil, charcoal, and ink, while becoming familiar with techniques and styles associated with each. This is the perfect class for the student who is new to art, as well as for those who would like to further develop their skills.
Supply List (Not Included in Class Fee):
• pencils – 1 each: 4B, 2B, HB, 2H
• erasers – 1 each: kneaded, art gum, Pink Pearl
• pencil sharpener • charcoal – 2 sticks vine (can be purchased in packets), and 1 stick compressed
• Conte crayon – 1 each: white, brown, black
• black India ink (for drawing, not mechanical pens)
• pen staff and assorted pen points (Can be purchased in kit. Make sure for drawing, not lettering)
• brush suitable for ink (bamboo handled brush recommended)
• small containers for waters (plastic)
• cotton rag, paper towels
• ruler
• 1 sketchbook, approximately 14″ x 17″ in size (suitable for a variety of media)
• 18″ x 24″ pad drawing paper (suitable for a variety of media) or bristol pad

Please join us Sunday, November 11th from 12-5PM for a trunk show with Buckhead Digital. There will be a live painting by the artist, Brandon Thomas! Buckhead Digital Studio is an Atlanta-based artist specializing in unique dog portraits. A portion of every purchase is used to send underprivileged kids from the Metro-Atlanta to summer camp, where they can learn new skills and build the confidence they need to chase theirs.
