Placita is back!!!
PLACITA aka La Plaza de Santurce in PR is a open air block of restaurants and bars centered by the Farmers Market where the people of San Juan meet on weekends to eat, drink, dance and socialize. On Friday’s (most popular Placita day) the crowds start arriving after work 5pm and it goes on till 4am or later…everyone from teenagers to grandpas hang out together and celebrate LIFE!

Talat is collaborating with Jay Bird to ring in the Chinese New Year. We’ll be cooking some fun dishes inspired by Chinese New Year foods to bring you luck in the new year. Our friend Tom Hill (Jay Bird) is currently at Spotted Trotter, previously at Le Pigeon, so it’s going to be a good one.
Tickets are $70, gratuity included. Root will be selling curated a la carte beer and wine.































Talat is collaborating with Sarah Dodge (of Bread is Good) to bring you a dinner that is inspired by all the allergies we encounter in the food business. We will start with an allergen-packed appetizer, followed by four courses that play with (and contain) shellfish, gluten, meat, and dairy. Sorry in advance.

Brezza Cucina offers Kids Pizza-Making Classes the second Monday of every month! The restaurant’s culinary team teaches little chefs how to stretch pizza dough before they top pies themselves and watch as the pizzas bake in the restaurant’s wood fire oven.
Classes cost $25 per child, including a complimentary glass of wine for the accompanying adult, and are held from 5-7pm.

Brezza Cucina’s Beverage Director Don Pirone hosts a wine tasting class the second Tuesday of every month focusing on a different region in Italy. Guests will enjoy an interactive learning and tasting experience centered around four wines from the restaurant’s cultivated selection. Snacks will be served from Brezza Cucina’s Burrata and Raw Bar. Each class begins at 7pm and is $30 to attend.
