Dreaming of the Redcoat Band is the true story of one child’s dream to march in Sanford Bulldog Stadium with the University of Georgia Redcoat Band. Dreaming of the Redcoat Band inspires children to follow their dreams and inspires parents to encourage childhood dreams. Dreaming of the Redcoat Band personifies the Redcoat Band legacy and draws the Redcoat Band even closer to the hearts of the Bulldog Nation. It is also an opportunity to give back to the band for the thrills of a lifetime in Sanford Stadium, as all profits generated from the book will be donated to the Redcoat Band.

Meet the Author this book, Richard Gnann, at Posman Books Ponce City Market on October 26th from 1 pm – 3 pm.

I Define Me is a children’s book written by a nine-year-old young man. This heartwarming children’s book empowers students with learning differences and their parents by providing a candid peek into the life of Kyler Eric Smith. Kyler, born in Atlanta, Georgia, currently resides in Metro Atlanta with his mother, father, and thirteen-year-old brother. This autobiographical piece gives readers the unique opportunity to walk in the shoes of a bright, articulate and multitalented child who has been diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyspraxia. Rather than seeing these learning differences as obstacles, Kyler sees them as they are, challenges that through hard work, tenacity and the right support system, can be overcome. Kyler frequently reminds others of this when he proudly shares his motto, “I Define Me”!

Come celebrate all things sewing with our first annual Atlanta Frocktails party. We are so excited to be hosting this event in partnership with Fabricate Studios.

What is Frocktails?

Frocktails is an event that provides sewists in our community an opportunity to socialize with sewing friends (both old & new!), show off a fancy hand-made garment, and enjoy some small bites and signature cocktails. We are excited to host this event that has swept its way from Australia, to Europe, to Canada, and most recently, to the United States!

Included in the price of your ticket:

• Taco station and chips and dips provided by Minero
• 2 signature cocktail tickets provided by Likewise (but there will be a cash bar all night as well!)
• A gift pack
• One raffle ticket
• Professional photographer snapping your outfit
• An excuse to dress super fancy in your #memade best & meet other members of our sewing community!
• hang on to your order confirmation – it will be your ticket and we will check off guest list names at the entrance to frocktails
