Chef Vivian Lee, currently a private chef in Atlanta, is bringing a Lunar New Year menu to Likewise! Vivian began her own culinary career as a baker up in New York City, and then moved to pastry which brought her down to Atlanta. Accolades include cooking at the James Beard House in NYC, winning Best Baked Good in Atlanta Pastry Live, and Best Pie at a local farmers market pie contest (Buttermilk Pie with Peaches and Blackberries).

Chef Lee’s menu is a meeting of dishes she loves with a mix of cultures! Her menu will be featuring Gamja Bravas, Japchae Egg Rolls and a KBBQ Sando. Her Good Luck New Year Platter will be a one to share with traditional Korean rice cake soup, mung bean pancakes ( a family recipe), broccoli tofu barchan and radish kimchi. Chef Lee has a bright future and has plans to create a brick and mortar as a cultural hub open to chefs to share their dishes and visions with fellow Atlantans.

Want to learn how to address an envelope in a fun and new way? You will leave with 3 cards addressed with postage stamps ready to send out just in time for Valentine’s Day. We will go over the basics of brush lettering & envelope addressing. You also get to take home your instructions and brush pen to use for future envelope addressing. This is a great class for all ages and experience levels.

What you’ll get:
1 Instructional Sheet

3 Valentines cards with envelopes (designs will vary by class)
Holiday themed stamps
A Valentine’s themed cocktail and/or water

What you need to bring:
3 addresses of friends or family to send your mail

What we’ll do:
We will go over the art and “rules” of sending a letter. We will also show you different envelope addressing styles. We will have markers and other supplies for you to use freely in embellishing your envelopes. There will be plenty of time for questions & to show you personalized examples.
The workshop* is $45.00, including all of your take home supplies.

Eating donuts while learning how to analyze that data!Regardless of your industry or role, fluency in the language of data analytics will allow you to contribute to data driven decision making. This workshop will put you in the driver’s seat to understand, analyze, and interpret data so you too can join the data conversation.

In this hands-on introductory workshop, you’ll learn to ask the right questions of your data, while learning basic analytic functionality in Google Sheets. Your newfound data analytic skills will be applied to real-world datasets, allowing you to develop recommendations based on your findings. Donuts and refreshments will be served!

If you’ve ever been interested in learning how to analyze data, this is a great event to get your feet wet. At GA, we provide a welcoming, kind and fun environment to learn. All are invited to attend.

Preparation

Students should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer, but no previous experience in data analysis or Google Sheets is required.

Want to learn how to address an envelope in a fun and new way? You will leave with 3 cards addressed with postage stamps ready to send out just in time for Valentine’s Day. We will go over the basics of brush lettering & envelope addressing. You also get to take home your instructions and brush pen to use for future envelope addressing. This is a great class for all ages and experience levels.

What you’ll get:

What you need to bring:
3 addresses of friends or family to send your mail

What we’ll do:
We will go over the art and “rules” of sending a letter. We will also show you different envelope addressing styles. We will have markers and other supplies for you to use freely in embellishing your envelopes. There will be plenty of time for questions & to show you personalized examples.

Eating donuts while learning how to analyze that data!Regardless of your industry or role, fluency in the language of data analytics will allow you to contribute to data driven decision making. This workshop will put you in the driver’s seat to understand, analyze, and interpret data so you too can join the data conversation.

In this hands-on introductory workshop, you’ll learn to ask the right questions of your data, while learning basic analytic functionality in Google Sheets. Your newfound data analytic skills will be applied to real-world datasets, allowing you to develop recommendations based on your findings. Donuts and refreshments will be served!

If you’ve ever been interested in learning how to analyze data, this is a great event to get your feet wet. At GA, we provide a welcoming, kind and fun environment to learn. All are invited to attend.

Preparation

Ponce City Farmers Market offers fresh produce, artisan products, handmade crafts, goods for the home and body, and more from an average of 30 rotating vendors per week. Market-goers can take home organic, seasonal produce from Cosmos Farm and Partnership Farm, baked goods from Martha’s Boy Bakeshop and Sweet Lola’s, kombucha from Cultured South and Figment Kombucha, natural body care from Vibrational Living, Helena Kai and SugarMelon Handmade Cosmetics, green cleaning supplies from Squeaky Green Cleaning Co, and much more. Throughout the season, the market will also feature special events, arts and crafts, visits from goats and more. Each vendor accepts credit, while some additionally take payments via Venmo, CashApp, PayPal and Apple Pay. SNAP/EBT dollars are accepted at qualifying vendors.

Guests may access the market via the Atlanta BeltLine or from Ponce City Market. Parking on the third floor of Ponce City Market’s parking deck (accessible via the ramp to the right of Pancake Social) is the most convenient access point to the farmer’s market via the BeltLine Trestle.

Chef Vivian Lee, currently a private chef in Atlanta, is bringing a Lunar New Year menu to Likewise! Vivian began her own culinary career as a baker up in New York City, and then moved to pastry which brought her down to Atlanta. Accolades include cooking at the James Beard House in NYC, winning Best Baked Good in Atlanta Pastry Live, and Best Pie at a local farmers market pie contest (Buttermilk Pie with Peaches and Blackberries).

Chef Lee’s menu is a meeting of dishes she loves with a mix of cultures! Her menu will be featuring Gamja Bravas, Japchae Egg Rolls and a KBBQ Sando. Her Good Luck New Year Platter will be a one to share with traditional Korean rice cake soup, mung bean pancakes ( a family recipe), broccoli tofu barchan and radish kimchi. Chef Lee has a bright future and has plans to create a brick and mortar as a cultural hub open to chefs to share their dishes and visions with fellow Atlantans.

Want to learn how to address an envelope in a fun and new way? You will leave with 3 cards addressed with postage stamps ready to send out just in time for Valentine’s Day. We will go over the basics of brush lettering & envelope addressing. You also get to take home your instructions and brush pen to use for future envelope addressing. This is a great class for all ages and experience levels.

What you’ll get:
1 Instructional Sheet
1 Brush Pen
3 Valentines cards with envelopes (designs will vary by class)
Holiday themed stamps
A Valentine’s themed cocktail and/or water
Snacks

What you need to bring:
3 addresses of friends or family to send your mail

What we’ll do:
We will go over the art and “rules” of sending a letter. We will also show you different envelope addressing styles. We will have markers and other supplies for you to use freely in embellishing your envelopes. There will be plenty of time for questions & to show you personalized examples.
The workshop* is $45.00, including all of your take home supplies.
