It’s Biscuit Time with beloved TV Chef Carla Hall (former co-host of ABC’s Emmy Award-winning The Chew and fan favorite on Bravo’s Top Chef) and Chadwick Boyd, host of the popular Reel Food series at the movies! Join Carla and Chadwick from Noon-2PM to learn their secrets to baking perfect biscuits every time and get Carla’s new, best-selling book, Carla Hall’s Soul Food. Carla will make flaky buttermilk biscuits from her book and Chadwick will bake up his carrot sage biscuits. Carla will talk about the making of Soul Food and how she went back to her Nashville roots to offer a fresh, lip-smackin’ look at America’s favorite comfort cuisine and soul food’s history from Africa and the Caribbean to the American South.

Sharing a common history dating back when both countries were Spanish colonies, Mexico and the Philippines share a strong ties and connections through cuisine, including tamales, flan, and more. Kamayan ATL and Minero chefs will be teaming up to create a special menu that will feature Sisig Tacos, and other creations that showcase the fusion of two cultures. All menu items will be priced al la carte and will be first come first serve















































ATTENTION CORN LOVERS – Root Baking Co. is proud to offer a class centered around our favorite grain: CORN!!! In a few fun-filled hours, we’ll follow our (non-GMO) many-eared muse from pastries to bread and everything in between as we get hands-on with masa, grits, cornmeal, and powder. Following our lab session, we’ll re-group and talk about heirlooms and varietals unique to the South, as we dine and sip on some treats made with and inspired by CORN.

We’re turning Ponce City Roof into the French Quarter this Mardi Gras season for a WHOLE WEEKEND*, Friday March 1st through Sunday March 3rd. We’ll be tossing beads, pouring Hurricanes, playing live music, and we’ll even have our own FLOAT. Be sure to wear your most outlandish Carnival getup and masks to enter our Costume Contest! The entire weekend will have specialty ‘Nawlins cocktails pouring from all 3 bars on The Roof (Sideshow, RFD Social, 9 Mile Station) and several Cajun foodie favorites will also be on hand. We’ll also be throwing a Crawfish Boil on Saturday afternoon for an additional charge if you want to get down and dirty with it. It’s a nonstop party all weekend, some come get a slice of that Krewe life!

We’ll have the perfect hands-on, dining option to complement the rest of the Mardi Gras festivities happening on THE ROOF!
Complete with all the low-country fixins, the Crawfish Boil will be a separate ticket you will need to purchase to grant access into our covered Rooftop Terrace. We’ll also have a live brass band playing in the Terrace during the Crawfish Boil–Each ticket will get you a heaping serving of our Crawfish Boil, which includes whole boiled crawfish, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes, peppers, onions, and grilled fennel. We will also be serving a sausage and chicken boil alternative for shell-fish allergies that includes all of the above, minus the crawfish, plus chicken. But wait, there’s more! We’ll be complimenting the Crawfish Boil with unlimited Hushpuppies, Hoppin’ John salad, red beans & rice, muffaletta deviled eggs, and of course KING CAKE for dessert. Alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at one of our many bars across The Roof.
