Noble Clay 2K Row

The Shed

The Noble Clay 2K Row event is a 2,000m row erg event. Similar to a standard 5K, but with rowing. Participants sign up to row and fundraise for our non-profit organization. All proceeds go to our brand new location in Summerhill/Peoplestown and providing fitness for all. Seventy percent of deaths nation wide are due to chronic illness and disease, with low-income communities and those of color, that are at a higher risk of suffering from chronic diseases.

These gaps hinder not only health outcomes, but also economic, social, and generational potential for families, communities, and our entire country. To address these disparities and tackle chronic illness head on, we provide accessible health and fitness care to ALL members of the community. The US spends $756 a month per person on chronic illness healthcare. It takes only $100 a month per member to provide professional health and fitness care with Noble Clay. Will you join us?

Top fundraisers win AWESOME prizes like your very own rower, training shoes, and a complete at-home-workout-package from Rogue are just a few. Top rowers win cash prizes!

There will also be a kids 250m dash, so bring them along. There will be something for everyone!

Don’t worry, you don’t have to know how to row. Sign up to learn!

August 17th, 9am-2pm, The Shed at Ponce City Market – we’re going to shut down the Beltline. There will be vendors, prizes, and lots of fun! Learn more at www.nobleclayfitness.com

Don't worry, you don't have to know how to row. Sign up to learn! August 17th, 9am-2pm, The Shed at Ponce City Market - we're going to shut down the Beltline. There will be vendors, prizes, and lots of fun! Satcha Malas Pop-Up

Modern Mystic Shop

Want to create your own custom wrist mala using Satcha Malas sacred technology? Sasha Korellis, the Founder of Satcha Malas, is joining Modern Mystic Shop to introduce her amazing mala technology to the Atlanta community. Her malas are thoughtfully and artfully crafted, each one hand knotted while a mantra is chanted, then spiritually cleansed with sage and a clearing meditation to enhance the vibration and intention of the mala. Each mala is made from natural and sustainably harvested sandalwood and rudraksha seeds that come from India, precious and semi-precious curated crystals, and hand knotted with organic linen thread that is grown in Belgium and hand spun in Italy. These malas transcend their singular use in meditation and transform into powerful technological tools of manifestation and healing. She will have pre-made malas, as well as kits that allow you to craft your own custom wrist mala to lock in personal intentions. The mala kits will include various crystals, sandalwood, and rudraksha beads. Stop by Saturday, August 17th or Sunday, August 18th to chat with Sasha about her amazing process, check out these one of a kind malas in person, and have the chance make your own mala!

Books & Booze: The Changeling

City Winery Atlanta

Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and The City Winery have teamed up to put a new spin on the term “book club.” Literature lovers can purchase their copy of the month’s selection today from Posman Books and later bring it to Atlanta’s urban winery on August 20th, 7 pm – 9 pm, to enjoy a spirited discussion among fellow readers. Posman Books’ General Manager Marc Stiles will host.

This month’s selection is modern horror classic The Changeling by Victor Lavalle. Like the best horror it uses genre tropes to dig into the muck that lies beneath society’s veneer. Apollo Kagwa has always led a … let’s say … tense existence as one of New York City’s only black book dealers. (It’s hard to concentrate on buying antique books when the nice suburban couple won’t let you use their bathroom, and the neighbors are watching your every move.) But Apollo thinks he’s stumbled into a perfect life when he marries librarian Emma Valentine and the two start a family. As baby Brian grows, Emma begins acting stranger and stranger, and Apollo starts finding increasingly unsettling photos on his phone. When a drastic action on Emma’s part breaks the family’s lives open, Apollo finds himself living in a terrifying fairy tale, fighting his way through secret islands, haunted woodlands, and a terrifying, mythical New York, all to try to win his wife and son back. The story examines race, class, true love, romance, revenge—all the good stuff—all while staying true to its horror roots.

2019-08-20 19:00:00 2019-08-20 21:00:00 America/New_York Books & Booze: The Changeling Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and The City Winery have teamed up to put a new spin on the term “book club.” Literature lovers can purchase their copy of the month’s selection today from Posman Books and later bring it to Atlanta’s urban winery on August 20th, 7 pm - 9 pm, to enjoy a spirited discussion among fellow readers. Posman Books' General Manager Marc Stiles will host. This month's selection is modern horror classic The Changeling by Victor Lavalle. Like the best horror it uses genre tropes to dig into the muck that lies beneath society’s veneer. Apollo Kagwa has always led a … let’s say ... tense existence as one of New York City’s only black book dealers. City Winery Atlanta

PCM Community Farmers Market

The Shed

Located under “The Shed” on the BeltLine entrance of Ponce City Market, the Ponce City Farmers Market  is the only farmers market in Georgia primarily attended by pedestrians and cyclists. The market is held seasonally on Tuesday evenings, and hosts some of Atlanta’s finest local food talent, including urban farmers, artisanal food makers, as well as pop-up chefs.nOur market is a producer-only market, meaning that vendors sell only products that they grow or produce themselves. Our farmers use organic practices (some going even beyond organic) to help steward the earth while producing the freshest and most nutritious food available in Georgia. Look for veggies and fruits, pasture-raised eggs and meats, alongside artisanal food vendors and natural beauty-care vendors.

We encourage shoppers to access the market by walking or biking on the Beltline or park at Ponce City Market. Parking is complimentary for farmers market shoppers in the lots in front of Mountain High Outfitters. Market shoppers can receive one hour of free parking in these lots by choosing zone 22200 and inputting the code FARMERS2018 in the Park Mobile app. This is only valid during market.
