RoleCall: World Premiere Short Plays @ RoleCall Theater

Join us Thursday – Saturday (March 5th-7th) for the premiere of two original short plays at RoleCall Theater @ Ponce City Market. Both plays are written, directed, and star local Georgians. Run time for each play is ~20 minutes plus a 5-minute Q&A with the cast & crew after each performance. After a 5-minute intermission, the second show will begin with an entirely different cast. The set of shows will run multiple times throughout the night starting on the hour. Seating for each performance is limited in order to maintain an up close and personal experience.

  • Witch in the Woods – written & directed by Lane Matravers: Jade, a recently expelled witch cursed to grant wishes as punishment for academic insolation. But on her final night of being a wishing witch, Jade and her talking cat Pluto are visited by a demon.
  • Catstract – written & directed by Brent Lambert-Zaffino: Tim thinks his art is abstract. Tim’s roommates, Joe and Patti, who might be trying to kill each other, think his art is a cat. Will these roommates be able to reconcile their differences in order to remain friends? Only God knows in this short absurdist comedy.
