Join us to celebrate Dia de las Velitas (Little Candles Day) with little candle-making workshops and a lighting ceremony presented by Lifecycles & Celebrations.

First, Linwood Court Candles (located in Citizen Supply) will be offering little candle-making workshops throughout the day. Join them to learn how to make a special tea candle all your own. [Registration Link coming soon.]

Then, from 6pm - 8pm, Little Candles Day organizer, Lifecycles and Celebrations, invites you to walk a “Winter Spiral” on The Yard. The winter spiral symbolizes finding light in the darkness. Each guest will walk to the center of the spiral, and light their own candle to place along the spiral.

Afterward, guests will make their way to the West “Peace” Passage by Sugarboo and Archer Paper Goods to unveil our holiday Peace Wall, designed by artist Kate Burke. Each guest will have an opportunity to write a message and add it to the Peace Wall.

The lighting ceremony, beginning at 6pm, is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. No registration is required. Please direct any questions to Claudia Pineda with Lifecycles & Celebrations.
